A m baden-württembergischen Standort Pfullendorf, nahe der Schwei-
zer Grenze, wurde Anfang Februar der neue Geberit Campus einge-
weiht. Gebäude und Ausstellung stammen von Atelier Brückner, das mit
dem Grand Egyptian Museum in Kairo (s. AIT 1/2.2026) von sich reden
machte. Die Stuttgarter ArchitektInnen und SzenografInnen blieben auch
im Landkreis Sigmaringen ihrer Gestaltungsphilosophie „Form follows
content“ treu. Der Geberit Campus ist eine Hommage an das Quadrat
und damit an das blaue Logo des Europäischen Marktführers für Sanitär-
produkte. Minimalistisch, zeitlos, offen und einladend präsentiert sich das
Gebäude. Aus dem Dach des eingeschossigen Pavillons ragen drei Beton-
kuben, die spezifischen Schulungsthemen gewidmet sind. Besonders
imposant ist der hohe Abwasser-Kubus. Die „Bühne“, ein mehrgeschos-
siges Regal zur Demonstration des Wassermanagements, zeugt von der
Kunst der Inszenierung, die das Atelier Brückner perfekt beherrscht – hier
eingesetzt für schulische Zwecke. Darüber hinaus bespielen Ausstellungs-
boxen die großzügige, lichtdurchflutete Fläche, die auf einem Wechsel von
Positiv- und Negativräumen basiert. Der Geberit Campus ist eine Inves-
tition in die Zukunft und in den Standort Deutschland. 7000 bis 8000
Präsenzschulungen sollen hier jährlich stattfinden, um Knowhow-Transfer
in den Bereichen Handwerk, Architektur, Investment, TGA-Planung, Ver-

content”. The Geberit Campus pays homage to the square and thus to
the blue logo of the European market leader for sanitary products. The
building is minimalist, timeless, open and inviting. Three concrete cubes
dedicated to specific training topics protrude from the roof of the single-
storey pavilion. The tall wastewater cube is particularly impressive. The
“stage”, a multi-storey shelf for demonstrating water management, is
testament to the art of staging, which Atelier Brückner has mastered per-
fectly – used here for educational purposes. In addition, exhibition boxes
adorn the spacious, light-flooded area based on an alternation of positive
and negative spaces. The Geberit Campus is an investment in the future
and in Germany as a business location. Between 7,000 and 8,000 training
courses are to be held here annually to enable the transfer of know-how
in the fields of craftsmanship, architecture, investment, building-services
engineering, sales and trade. Videos for the company’s own YouTube
channel are also produced in the campus studio.
